If you have never visited this area before, we recommend a guided tour led by our local guides.

You haven’t tried your hand at cross-country skiing yet? Then it’s high time you got started. To begin with, we recommend the two trails in Sölden. They are perfect for helping you find the right style, technique and speed for you. From Sölden you have access to the entire Ötztal cross-country skiing centre, which has 143 kilometres of trails for you to try. Vent, Längenfeld, Umhausen, Niederthai – almost every village in the Ötztal valley is dotted with cross-country skiing trails, and each one has its very own charm. It is easy to hire equipment on site.
